St Pierre McAllister Appraisals

SSN – Another show of appreciation for the Winchester District Memorial Hospital. St. Pierre-McAllister Appraisals raised over $1000 for the hospital by hosting an online auction.

Vintage Donation!

Stephanie McAllister wanted to give back to Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) and she found a way that was near and dear to her heart. She hosted an online Facebook auction and donated the proceeds to the WDMH Foundation. In the end, $1082 was raised!

“I was born and raised in Winchester and have many connections to the hospital. My husband and I, and our children, were born there,” Stephanie says. “It’s our life and to be honest, if we didn’t have the hospital, I wouldn’t know what we would do.”

For close to 10 years, Stephanie has run StPierre-McAllister Appraisals and is a certified Canadian personal property appraiser. She runs about 20 Facebook auctions each year. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” she laughs. “My parents were involved in this business so I guess it’s in my blood.”

“I’m always amazed by the people who take the time from their lives to help WDMH by fundraising,” notes Kristen Casselman, WDMH Foundation’s Managing Director. “Stephanie’s story is the perfect example of how one person can make a positive contribution to their community. Thank you to Stephanie and everyone who donated and bought the auction items.”

Stephanie says this is the first auction she has run for WDMH, but plans to do more. “I love my job and I love making people happy. This was another way to help out!”
