SSN – The Winchester District Memorial Hospital is looking for community input to help them develop new mission, vision and value statements.

WDMH Seeks Input on its Mission, Vision and Values Statements

Every hospital has mission, vision and values statements that sum up what the organization is all about. At Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH), we want those words to really mean something. And we’re asking for local community members to help.

“These statements talk about who we are, where we are going and what we value,” notes Cholly Boland, CEO. “It has been 13 years since WDMH’s statements were last updated so this review is timely.”

A committee, chaired by Board member James Pitruniak, is leading the process. It involves consultation with patients and families, staff members, physicians, volunteers, healthcare partners and local communities. All recommendations will be presented to the WDMH Board in February. Community members can provide input via an online survey, or by attending a Community Breakfast on November 26 in Morrisburg. “This is a great opportunity to connect with our local communities and get their input,” adds James Pitruniak. “We encourage everyone to share their views.”
