Celebrate Canadian Library Month with the SD&G County Library

This October, the SD&G County Library invites you to celebrate Canadian Library Month and Ontario Public Library Week! Throughout Canada, the month raises public awareness of the valuable role that libraries play in the everyday lives of Canadians. The theme for Canadian Library Month and Ontario Public Library Week 2014 is “Libraries Inspire”

In addition to programs and displays at all branches of the SD&G County Library, this year we want to share your stories of how libraries inspire you.

“We’re asking residents to create a video to tell us how the Library inspires them”, said Erika Heesen, Communications & Marketing Librarian. “You can send us a link to your video, or come to one of the Library’s Pop-Up Video stations throughout October to share your story”.
