PC SD&SG MPP Jim McDonell Re-Elected as Wynne Liberals Gain Majority Victory in Ontario

Seniors Showcase 3May14 6SSN – Incumbent MPP Jim McDonell easily retained his seat in the Ontario Provincial election.    The second term MPP did better than his party which was a distant second after the Liberals won a majority with 58 seats predicted to be won as of press time.

The PC’s were leading or have won 28 seats and the NDP  21.

With 206/244 polls reporting Mr. McDonell had 15,246 votes or 50.16% of the votes in SD&SG.

In nearby Leeds Grenville incumbent PC MPP Steve Clark easily won again and in nearby Glengarry Prescott Russell Grant Crack was slated to be re-elected as well.
